Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR) 2 Dubai Metro Tram Station is the latest station on the Dubai Metro and the first Metro station located in the iconic Jumeirah Beach Residence. The station is located in between the Dubai Marina and Palm Jumeirah, just a few minutes walk from the famous JBR Walk and access to a variety of shopping and entertainment facilities. This new station serves to connect the popular JBR area to the rest of the city and provide travelers with more options to explore and commute to different parts of Dubai.
The station is accessible from the beachfront on the north side and from Al Sufouh Road on the south side. It has two lines with a total of seven platforms, three of which are for the Metro and four for the tram. The station includes efficient elevators for easy access between differently-sized platforms and escalators to allow passengers to transit from Line 1 to Line 2 or vice-versa. To ensure that travelers are served conveniently, there are facilities that provide information about parking, toilets, digital screens for directions, ticket vending machines, and more.
The station also contributes to the vibrant environment of JBR by providing travelers and locals with a host of amenities from retail stores and restaurants to cafés, entertainment, and nightlife. Visitors can also use the connecting metro station to explore the area and its attractions such as Aquaventure Waterpark, the JBR Walk, shop at The Walk Shopping Centre, or relax at a beachfront café or restaurant.
