Union Square - Dubai Metro Station Red Line

Union Square is a bustling metro station located in the heart of Dubai, along the Red Line. It is one of the busiest stations on the line, servicing a large portion of the Emirate’s population. The opening of the station back in 2009 made travelling between the city’s most important areas much easier.

Now with greater frequency of trains, the station sees more people in and out than ever before. People from all corners of Dubai use the station to make their way to the city centre, and plenty of foreigners pass through its gates. This has made Union Square a true hub of culture and progress thanks to connectivity.

Thanks to the convenient and strategic location, the station has become an iconic landmark on the cityscape. It was even featured in an action-packed movie filmed in the Emirate, with its distinctive awning and design being visible in the backdrop of the film.

In the future, Union Square is only going to get busier. With plans to extend the Metro’s services further still, the station is only going to become more important as the city grows.
